Renting an apartment in Nine Elms is fast becoming a desirable option for corporate professionals in London. Embassy Gardens, Nine Elms Point, St George's Wharf and Battersea Power Station are all hot new property developments that have kickstarted the regeneration of three kilometres of Thames riverside in SW8. Transport options are set to become more varied too, as the Northern line underground is set to extend from Kennington to Battersea with the addition of two new stations. Nine Elms Point, is a Barratt property development comprising 645 apartments situated next to the first of these stations. This means that residents in the Nine Elms area will soon be able to enjoy an unbroken commute into the City.

As things stand, Nine Elms is already well connected with Vauxhall Underground being just a five minute walk away. The station's Zone 1 location on the Victoria line makes light work of journeys to the West End and means that Nine Elms can take its place among a thriving cluster of Southbank neighbourhoods. Vauxhall has its nightlife and Portuguese restaurants while Battersea has its beautiful park. Nine Elms itself will be the focus of some ambitious community art programmes. There will be a Damien Hirst gallery at the power station which has been converted into luxury flats, together with numerous venues, cafes and independent shops and the innovation doesn't stop there. Apart from a strip of lateral parkland running parallel with the Thames path, there are plans to build a pedestrian "garden bridge" that will allow access to Pimlico and Chelsea on the opposite bank.
