Commuting into Central London from the edge of the Underground map may seem daunting, but corporates and city professionals are starting to seriously consider Edgware as a viable area to rent a property. This Zone 5 neighbourhood was once typified by large detached homes and these still are popular with young families. There is, however, something of a new build property explosion taking place with new property developments popping up all over the area.

Edgware is the northwestern terminus of the Northern Line Underground network which serves both City and West End destinations. This makes journeys to and from the centre of London convenient and quick (30 - 40 minutes with no interchanges).

As interest in the area grows, new property developments are springing up in places like Edgware Green. What was once a sprawl of social housing stock is now a sleek, new scheme comprising high specification apartments surrounded by landscaped gardens. The construction of Edgware Green complements the radical overhaul of the A5, then main road that links HA8 to NW9 as it changes from a dowdy warehouse district to a vibrant living quarter.

The area around Edgware station is well served by restaurants, shops and schools. A compact, yet comprehensive shopping centre is positioned right next door and reliable bus services put most of North London within easy reach. The M1 motorway is also within easy reach for quick getaways to the countryside.
